Why isn’t my data appearing in Ucardia?

We know it’s exciting to open Ucardia and start seeing your health story come together. If your data isn’t showing yet or looks a little sparse, don’t worry. In most cases, this is a normal part of getting started.

Below are the most common reasons this happens.

You’re just getting started or added a new device

If you recently joined Ucardia or connected a new device, your data may need a little time to sync.

Many devices don’t share data instantly. Depending on the device and the type of data, it can take up to 24 hours for information to begin appearing in Ucardia. During this time, your device is collecting data and securely passing it along in the background.

What helps:

  1. Keep wearing your device as usual
  2. Make sure your phone is connected to the internet.
  3. Give it up to 24 hours after setup or pairing

Some devices limit the data they share

Ucardia works with Apple Health on iPhone and Google Health Connect on Android to bring your health data into one clear view.

Some device manufacturers choose to limit which data they share outside of their own apps. When that happens, Ucardia can only display the data we’re given access to.

Even if your device is tracking something, it may not appear in Ucardia if it isn’t shared through Apple Health or Google Health Connect.

In short, Ucardia can only display the data we’re able to access.

It takes time to turn data into meaningful insights

Seeing your first data points is just the beginning. While some data may appear within the first day, meaningful insights build over time. Most members start seeing clearer trends and more personalized insights after about a week of consistent data.

Ucardia looks at patterns over time, not just single readings. The more consistently you wear your device and go about your normal routine, the smarter and more helpful your insights become.

Permissions may need a quick check

Even with supported devices, permissions matter. If Ucardia isn’t allowed to read your health data, nothing can sync.

To check your permissions:

  1. Confirm your device is sharing data with Apple Health or Google Health Connect
  2. Open Apple Health or Google Health Connect
  3. Confirm Ucardia has permission to read your data
  4. Make sure the data types you care about (such as steps, heart rate, sleep, and activity) are turned on
